Landscape
This year I have been painting Landscapes inspired by travels around the UK. The canvas is layered to recreate the patchwork effect of fields and boundaries. I paint using acrylics by layering washes of colour and metallics to evoke natural harmonies in light and colour. The fence work adds structure to the painting and realism. These works are all unframed as the painting is continued on to the sides of the canvas.
